Returns and Refunds

What is your return policy?
If you change your mind about a product, you can return it within 30 days. Some of our sellers may offer longer returns periods. If your product was sent tracked, the 30 day window begins when the delivery takes place. If your product wasn’t sent tracked, the 30 day window begins on the last day of the estimated delivery date.

There are some exceptions which you won’t be able to return e.g. perishable goods, personalised items etc. See details and exclusions.

What can I return?
You may return most new, unopened items sold through or fulfilled by within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. During the Christmas season, items dispatched by thingcompare and our sellers from 1 November to 31 December may be returned until 31 January.

If your product wasn’t sent tracked, the 30 day window begins on the last day of the estimated delivery date.

Does thingcompare offer replacements or exchanges?
Yes, we do. If you received a damaged or defective item, we’ll send you a replacement of the same item. If you’d like to exchange an item for something else, you can exchange for a different size or colour or for an item in your basket.

What is your return policy?
To return your product, simply:

  1. Go to the Orders page in your thingcompare account
  2. Find the order with the product you’d like to return
  3. Click the ‘Return Items’ button and select a reason for your return
  4. Indicate whether you’d prefer a refund or an exchange

That’s it! thingcompare or your seller will confirm your return and provide any additional details you need. Please don’t return the item to your seller without their confirmation.

When will I get my refund?
Usually within 2-3 weeks of returning your order. After we receive and process your return, it may take 5-7 business days for your refund to display on your payment card statement.

You can check the status of your order from your thingcompare account from the ‘Orders’ section. You can view any refund details by clicking the ‘View Order Details’ button.

How do I know if you’ve received my return?
We’d always advise sending your return tracked for your own peace of mind and to cover you in the event of any courier delays.
